One Wisconsin talk show host revealed just how tense of a relationship two Wisconsin Congressmen had after he accused progressive Congressman Mark Pocan (D-Wi.) of cyberstalking conservative Representative Derrick Van Orden (R-Wi.).
Talk show host Dan O’ Donnell revealed that Pocan has tweeted at Van Orden three times a day in the past month and nearly once a day throughout the year in 2025, highlighting the tense and often hostile relationship between the two Wisconsin congressmen.
In just the last week, Pocan has called Van Orden an ‘idiot’, promoted a town hall he plans to hold in the Congressman’s district, and accused him of being a liar. (RELATED: New Development Calls Legitimacy of Biden’s Presidential Pardons in to Question)
The two Congressmen have had an acrimonious relationship for years, with O’Donnell claiming that Pocan has tagged Van Orden in 789 tweets since May of 2021.
The longstanding feud between the two reached a fever pitch on Thursday during a media interview where the Congressmen insulted each other and Pocan cursed at Van Orden.
In the highly unusual and viral exchange, Pocan accused Van Orden of being drunk and Van Orden advised Pocan to seek mental health counseling.
Pocan, who represents Wisconsin’s 2nd District that includes parts of Madison is known for his confrontational brand of politics, he currently serves as the Chair Emeritus of the House Progressive Caucus and Co-Chair of the Congressional LGBT Equality Caucus.
Van Orden was elected to the House more recently and is serving out his second term in Wisconsin’s 3rd District.
