Vandals defaced the Republican Party of Dane County’s office in what is described as a “disturbing” and “vile act” of criminality in the Madison area.
Tuesday, the vandals defaced the signage on the office door, placing an “I stand with Planned Parenthood” sticker on said sign, as well as writing the word “Pedos” and drawing what appears to be a crude swastika.
The Dane County Republican Party posted an image of the exterior vandalism on Facebook Wednesday afternoon.
Former Chairman of the Dane County Republican Party, Brandon Maly, wrote the following in response to the incident. “I am deeply disturbed to see that the party headquarters in Madison was vandalized. The political discourse in our country should be carried out in meaningful discussion and interaction with our friends and neighbors. This is never acceptable. I fully condemn this vile act.”

Back in May of 2022 the Wisconsin Family Action group’s headquarters, located in Madison, was targeted in a molotov cocktail attack and had graffiti spray painted on it stating that “if abortions aren’t safe then you aren’t either.”
This previous incident had pro-choice groups taking credit for the attack, with a man eventually being charged. (RELATED: Congressman Says Wisconsin Sanctuary County Should Lose All Funding)

The 2020s have seen numerous incidents of politically motivated violent and destructive behavior across the nation, and Madison is no different.
